Murder in the Yoga Store

Before leaving on our vacation to Vermont, I started reading Unglued, which I borrowed from a friend.  Well, I didn't get it finished before we left, and I didn't want to take a book and my Kindle on the journey.  So I decided to abandon it until I returned.  In the meantime, I read Murder in the Yoga Store by Peter Ross Range.  I stumbled upon this one in the Kindle store, and the title struck me.

I started and completed this one (now book #6) while on vacation.  It was a short read, not well-written (in my opinion), but certainly interesting.  The book depicted the true story of Jayna Murray's murder in March of 2011 in Bethesda, MD, a town just outside of Washington, D.C.  Captivating for sure but certainly no happy ending.

At first, I thought a true story would be compelling to read, but afterward, I learned that this one was difficult to get through.  The gruesome parts of the story and the fact that they actually happened makes me want to move forward with fiction.  Luckily, I had also downloaded The Art of Racing the Rain by Garth Stein, a fictional story told from a dog's point-of-view.  I began immediately while in VT and hope to finish up by the end of the week.
