Cinco de Mayo

Yesterday, Brantley, Ace, and I went to a Cinco de Mayo celebration hosted by our friends and fellow NoDa residents.  The weather was perfect for the occasion, and I must say they have the perfect house for hosting cookouts.  I fall in love every time we go there!  Their kitchen is in the back of their house with double doors that open up to a large deck.  They also have a big, flat backyard-complete with a swing, an open space for a game of cornhole, a fire pit, and a picnic table.  The food was catered by Qdoba, and a few people brought appetizers or desserts.  I recently pinned a strawberry mango salsa that I saw on pinterest and decided to try it out.  It got rave reviews, and we brought home an empty bowl.  So yummy!
