update on us

Before we went to dinner at On the Border last weekend, I snapped a picture of us. We haven't had any taken in a while, and I thought it was about time for an update.

Brantley thoroughly enjoyed his snowboarding trip with Ryan to Salt Lake City. I think they had a great time, but he was ready to come home by the end of the week. He was completely exhausted! Last week, Wells Fargo has been putting him through training at work so his hours were 9:00-5:30. I don't think he enjoyed that too much. Luckily, he's back to normal hours this week. He's looking forward to a short trip to Ohio for a 2-day concert at the end of May. And...he just can't wait to turn 28! It's just around the corner!

As for me, I'm on spring break this week!!! :) School is going pretty well. We're headed into the last quarter already! When school ends, I'll be a nanny again for the same girls that I watched last summer. I'm looking forward to a concert in a few weeks with two of my girlfriends. We're staying overnight so that should be a lot of fun!

Of course, both of us still visit the gym regularly. We have to work off all of those cheat meals we eat on the weekends, and we're gearing up for that cruise in June. We can't wait! We're also looking forward to our visit to St. Louis in July and hopefully a trip a Vermont in August for Brantley's family reunion.

I guess the biggest changes in our lives is our hair!! Brantley's has gone from buzzed to super long to what it is now. Mine has gone from short with red/violet highlights to medium-length and black all over. I had to cover up those gray hairs my students were giving me!

Oh yeah...we both really, really want a dog! We know we want a westie, and we have the name picked out already! If it's a girl, we'd name her Milly, and if it's a boy, we'd name him Ace. After all of our trips this summer, that's what we'll be saving for-a new puppy.
