bridal photo session

Yesterday was so exciting for me! I got my nails, toenails, makeup, and hair done for my bridal photos. It was so nice to be pampered! After all of that, I picked up my dress, and then Amber and I went on what seemed like a never-ending road trip to an apple orchard in the mountains. It was a long journey, but in the end, I'm was glad we went to that location.

When we finally arrived, I put on my jewelry, and Amber helped me into my dress. It fit like a glove, and I felt so glamorous-even while trudging through the fields in my old, brown flip-flops. The weather was chilly, and I had goose bumps the whole time. By the end of the session, my teeth were chattering, and my fingers weren't functioning too well, but I was pretending I was at the beach on a warm summer day. :)

Our photographer's twin sister taxied all of us around the beautiful property in a golf cart-not so glamorous but so much fun! I'm sure it was quite a site! I can't wait to see how they turned out. Amber shed a few tears-that's a good sign, right?!
