Brantley and I spent our weekend in Oxford, Ohio for Katie and Alan's wedding. We joined another couple and strolled the campus of Miami of Ohio on a typical fall Saturday before heading to the wedding that late afternoon. The ceremony took place at a quaint little church on campus. The couple had such sweet, endearing vows. I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd! The reception immediately followed at a venue on campus. The highlights included: a ShutterBooth (they're always so much fun!), a surprise performance by a men's a capella from the University, and the greatest MOH toast I have ever heard. Katie's two sisters wrote and rapped a song to the tune of the theme song from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The lyrics were both sweet and hilarious. It was definitely a memorable moment!
We're so glad to have such great friends, and we're even more excited that they are our new neighbors!
