Last week, my workout partner and I decided that we needed to incorporate leg exercises into our routine again. We had been focusing on core and upper body and neglected to do anything but cardio with the lower half. So Saturday morning we hit the gym at 8 a.m. We were quite excited to try out the new stuff. We hit it hard! We toughed through the pain during the workout and new we'd be sore...but we never expected what we got! The pain grew worse and worse as the day went on, and by Sunday, we could barely walk! Stairs, sitting down, standing up-all nearly impossible! I felt like I was 80! Yesterday I walked with a little bit of a limp, but I was much better today. I'm crossing fingers for full, normal mobility tomorrow. I sure learned my lesson!!
