filed with joy :)

Sometimes I reflect and try to remember my days in second grade. The only thing that I remember is that my teacher was old and cranky. I try to keep that in mind, because I don't want my students to remember me that way. I don't think I have to worry about them remembering me as old. As far as cranky...well I'm not so sure, but I hope not!

Today I received two adorable letters from some sweet girls of mine. They reassured me that (fingers crossed) my students won't remember me as a cranky teacher!
"Dear Ms. West. You are the best theaer in the whole school and you make me fill happy and filed with joy."

I'm so glad I file my students with joy! :)

In the writing center, the students write a letter to me about a book they've read recently. So one of my darlings pretended that she read a book about me. Here's her letter:
"I read about Ms. West. Ms. West is a vare nise tercher. She help me and when I need her she comes. I just love her. She is not to mean. I lov Ms. West and she love me to."

What good pick-me-ups after a crazy, busy week at school!
