one year

As of today, Brantley and I have officially been together for one year! Although we dated for almost six months before that, September 13th is our official day. Last night we celebrated with dinner at the Crepe Cellar in Noda. The food was absolutely delicious! When Kari and I had lunch, I chose french toast. So yummy! This time I decided to go for a crepe stuffed with chicken, spinach, goat cheese, and wild mushrooms, which is now one of my favorites. Mmmm!!! Brantley had the queen city crepe, which had chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and a tomoato dressing. And as soon as we sat down, Brantley informed me that we were ordering dessert, which meant I couldn't even try to get out of it. Kari and I had shared a fantastic dessert last weekend and I couldn't stop talking about it all week, so we decided to order the same thing - a brownie in a blanket sundae. Incredible! Imagine this on your taste buds - a brownie covered in nutella, then wrapped in a crepe and topped with candied walnuts, whipped cream, and vanilla bean ice cream. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! I highly recommend this cozy little restaurant. Sooo good! :)

It was a wonderful way to spend our Saturday evening and celebrate our first year together. I hope the next one is even better than the last!
