He's new at this.
A few days ago, Cole and I ran to Walgreens to pick up some pictures that I had printed. While in the store, my brother says, "I better get some diapers while we're here. Ava's about out." So we walk back to that area, and I ask him what kind the baby needs. At this moment, I realize he's new to this situation, but I give him credit for what he does know: 1)She wears Huggies, 2) There needs to be a "1" on the package, and 3) They need to be curved in the front so her ambilical cord is not bothered. So with this information we begin the search. A few seconds later, I say, "Here you go. I think these will work." He takes the package and begins reading aloud "Huggies...newborn...1...curved...up to 10 lbs. What? 10 lbs? What kind of newborn poops 10 lbs.?" "You moron! That's the weight of the baby, not how much the diaper can hold!" When I told my family this story, they thought he was joking with me, but no. He wasn't kidding at all; he was quite serious. He's obviously new at this! At least he provided us with a good laugh :)
