

21 days. that's 504 hours or 30, 240 minutes or 1, 814, 400 seconds. long time to be away from my second home, a.k.a. Peak Fitness. today was my first day back to the gym, and after 3 weeks, i missed it greatly. in my time of illness, i had reverted back to my early college years, eating fatty, greasy foods and stuffing myself silly. an unhealthy diet without exercise seems like a terrible combination, but to my surprise, i don't think i regressed quite as much as i originally thought. however, i could tell a bit of a difference. those small weights seemed slightly heavier than i recall, and the scale must've been over by about 3 pounds :-/ nonetheless, i enjoyed having a carefree, guiltless break from working out. i needed it. it was slowly becoming an unhealthy obsession. i'm glad to be back to my routine, a healthy diet, and just feeling better. i felt strong today, but i know i'll be sore tomorrow.
