carpe diem!

this is from yesterday. i thought i lost it (and was not feeling up to searching for it or redoing it).

so i'm finally getting over mono :) if you've never had it, i hope that you never do. if you have, then you can relate. it's probably one of the most miserable things i've ever experienced. mostly because it seems to last forever. saturday i started feeling much better, and i simply couldn't stare at the walls any longer. sooo...amber and i decided to go out for a bit. probably not the best idea, but i was wise enough not to drink. it turned into a quite surprising and hence, restless night. long story.

no more laying in bed and desperately trying to fall back into dreamland. i decided to get up on this gorgeous sunday and carpe diem! to birkdale to snap a few pics. i adore this little bubble called birkdale village. it's a picture perfect scene from a hollywood movie. beautiful landscaping, cadillacs and BMWs line the street, families enjoy the outdoor shopping, couples-new and old-stroll down the sidewalk hand-in-hand, the singles hold coffee in one hand and a dog leash in the other. absolute perfection. so i wander aimlessly, pausing for a shot here and there. then it's to SB, of course, to play on photoshop.
