Divergent

A few weeks ago, a fellow crossfitter recommended this book to me.  She said, "If you liked The Hunger Games, then you'll like the Divergent series."  Well, I took her advice and purchased the first book.  I completed it a few days ago, and I certainly agree-if you liked The Hunger Games, then you'll probably enjoy this series.  In fact, I liked this series much better.  At times, it can be a bit gruesome, and I learned (the hard way) that I shouldn't read this book before bed.  Sometimes my dreams became gory and terrifying.  Nonetheless, it was enjoyable and kept me intrigued.  Insurgent is the next book in the series, but I may wait to read that one until just before the third book in the series comes out in October.  

This is the third book that I've read so far this year, so I'm well on my way to meeting my goal of 10 for the year. Book #1 was The Edge of Never, and book #2 was One for the Money.  I'm currently reading Safe Haven, and then I may read Unglued next.  As you can probably tell from this list, I don't favor a particular genre.  I just enjoy a book that keeps me wanting to read more :)
