When I turned one, my mom bought a personalized cassette tape for my birthday. I was so amazed that the singer was saying my name. I felt so special, and I fell in love with the silly song. We played it every year, and as I got older, I would blast it through the house several days prior to my birthday. I wanted to give everyone a friendly reminder. :) When I was 10, I misplaced the tape and couldn't commence my yearly ritual. Luckily, I found it by the time the next one rolled around, and it has been played every year since. I don't intend to break the tradition-ever! Sadly, I no longer have a cassette player, but thank goodness for Youtube!
