new favorites

Over the past 2 months, Brantley and I have received some great gifts off of our wedding registries, a few of which have become some of my most favorite things. I've also discovered some other fabulous items this summer, and they are:
1.
2.
3. Collegiate 16-Ounce Tervis Tumbler - University of Missouri
4.
5.
6.

1. Moroccan Oil-recommended by my hair stylist
I love this stuff! It repairs heat-damaged hair without making it oily. It's a bit expensive but worth the cost!

2. OXO containers-shower gifts from my parents and two of my friends
I went on an organizing frenzy and put all 10 of these to use as soon as we got back from our trip to St. Louis. I told Brantley that I wouldn't mind having more, and he said, "Our whole house is going to be filled with these containers, isn't it?" Haha!

3. Mizzou Tervis Tumbler (w/ the lid)-a gift from Ava
The greatest thing about this cup is that it doesn't sweat. It's also insulated so it keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. It's so handy!

4. Keurig Coffee Maker (& the carousel)-a gift from my grandma
Brantley doesn't drink coffee, so I never went through the trouble of making a whole pot just for myself. This item is the perfect solution! It needs a few minutes to warm up, and then it takes about 20-30 seconds to brew your single-serve cup. You can also buy various-flavored teas, cocoas, lattes, etc. B likes sweet tea and chai lattes so it works for him, too!

5. Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult-checked out from the public library
I love Jodi Picoult, and I have read a handful of her books. This one is definitely my favorite! In the beginning, I felt very angry toward the mass-murderer of a school shooting, but by the end, she had me sympathizing with him. Very well-written!

6. Redkin Sleek Look Shampoo & Conditioner-a delightfully-smelling set recommended by my hair stylist
These two products clarify your hair and scalp and get rid of any buildup, and like the oil, they work well on heat-damaged hair.
