jewelry-making

Back in October, two friends and I decided to take advantage of the Groupon that was available. It was for a jewelry-making class, which I had never tried but thought it would be fun. Well, yesterday we finally cashed in our Groupon for a wire-wrapped beaded bracelet class. We sat around a table in a small, dainty jewelry boutique, picked out our beads, and enjoyed some punch before we got started. Once everyone was settled, the instructor began the lesson, but it didn't take too long for me to get behind. Apparently, I don't have the greatest fine motor skills, especially with my left hand. I hung in there, though my hands were shaking and quite tense by the end of the class. Nonetheless, I left with a completed project! And I came to the conclusion that, for me, jewelry-making should just be a hobby, not a career!
