It's on layaway!

Yesterday morning I got an email from Gap advertising 45% of their merchandise. B and I both wanted a few things from there so we decided we'd take a trip to the mall after our errands. We went on with our normal morning routine-gym, Harris Teeter, and then a late breakfast. Before heading into the mall, we stopped in at Jared to look around and see what they had to offer. At the door, we were greeted by a very sweet German woman named Lotte who took us on a quick tour. She asked us if we knew anything about diamonds. Little did she know...B had done his research. He explained everything perfectly, and she offered him a job! Lol! Anyway, we looked around, and I tried on a halo-style setting. They placed diamonds of different sizes in the middle, and it turns out that I actually loved the smallest one. It sounds crazy, I know, but I don't want to be too flashy! While Lotte and B talked through the details, I had to walk around and be occupied by another saleswoman. After a while, B walks over to me and surprises me with, "I put the diamond on layaway." I was quite shocked...and so excited!!
