With state testing this week, we had some major changes in our schedule-no special area classes (which means to snack or potty breaks), no help from assistants, no outdoor recess, and no quiet, peaceful lunches to myself. Needless to say, my students and I have had lots of quality time together over the past few days. With a little bribery and a lot of patience, I/we survived this week. I know the week is not quite over, but the worst part has passed. And now I'm looking forward to a restful weekend. Brantley and I don't have any plans, and that's quite nice for a change.
Interesting-looking plant, right? I took it at the botanical gardens a few weeks ago, but I don't remember the name of it. I just liked its uniqueness.
