These are basically a layer of Ghirardelli double chocolate brownie mix, a layer of peanut butter (mixed with cream) and another layer of brownie mix. Totally fat free!! (Or at least that's what I tell myself!)

in the kitchen
We spent some time in the kitchen this past weekend experimenting with some dishes in our Costco cookbooks, which I highly recommend for everyone. The recipes are simple, and they come with large, full-color pictures with every dish in the book. Since we're beginners, we need simple and (I need) pictures. Anyway, Saturday afternoon, we made delicious strawberry orange smoothies, and they were so good we made them again on Sunday. I made peanut bar passion bars...incredibly tasty but incredibly dangerous! For dinner, Brantley made balsamic chicken with spinach and couscous, probably a new favorite of mine. Let me know if you'd like the recipe for either of the dishes!
