house hunting

I can't believe I haven't blogged in 2 weeks. Maybe that's because of all the chaos that's been going on lately. Last Sunday, Brantley and I met up with his stepmom (our realtor) to take a look at a few places that we had picked out. After driving around Charlotte for a few hours, we went back to his parents' house for dinner. By the end of the day, we decided that there was really only one place that would be worth an offer. So the next day, we went back to that place for a second look. On Tuesday night, we went through all of the paperwork, and Brantley signed his name so many times he got a hand cramp! Not really, but it seemed like he signed his name a million times! We officially put in our offer on Wednesday morning, and since then, we've gone back and forth with the seller on an affordable price. We're thinking he will accept our last offer, but we're still not sure. Hopefully, we'll hear some good news today. If not, that's okay. We'll just continue looking :)
