My fourth grade team members and I met to hash out our plans for the rest of the year, while substitutes held down the fort at The Creek for a few hours. As we sat at Panera this morning, I looked around and thought 'Hmm...I could get used to a life like this.' Sitting in an oversized, comfy chair, watching a gas fire blaze, sipping on a warm chai tea, and listening to piano music (and of course, getting some work done, too). What a life! I was so spoiled this morning! It was almost hard for me to enjoy, though. I just kept thinking about what I had to go back to-the exact opposite of peacefulness-twenty-five dependent fourth graders who give me gray hairs and make me want to change my last name!
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to summer mornings at a cozy coffee house :)
