Oh, girl! I remember meeting you at the new teacher orientation in July of ‘07. You walked up and introduced yourself and asked where I was going to be teaching. I responded and was so excited when you said, “Really? Me too!” I was relieved to know there was going to be another new, young teacher. You were so kind and outgoing. I knew you would become a great friend.
A few months later, you introduced to the wonderful treats that On The Border has to offer-chips & salsa and margaritas swirled with sangria J And throughout the next few months, I kept hearing “You should get a camera,” and “We could quit teaching and open our own photography business.” I’d always had an interest in photography but never really pursued it the way I wanted to. So now I have you to thank for urging me to really get into the hobby that I now love and enjoy so much.

I’m glad our classrooms are much closer this year. I look forward to many more wine nights, On The Border dates, working out together, and of course, photo shoots involving America’s Next Top Teacher Models ;)
Oh…and…call me anytime you need to be rescued when Ryan’s out of town. Lol!
Love ya, girl!
