How we met: Kari and I were orientation leaders for a program called Summer Welcome at Mizzou. We met in February 2005, but we really didn’t get to know one another until that summer when training and work became intense (and tons of fun!). After a lengthy afternoon of chatting and sunbathing, I knew she’d be a great friend, even when Summer Welcome ended. That next school year we shared many, many fun nights as single seniors. We had a blast together :)
Interesting facts/quirks about Kari and I:
*I’m exactly 6 months older, so her birthday is my half birthday and vice versa.
*We share a dislike for beer but can take down Jose like it’s our job (or we could at one time).
*I was the match maker and introduced her to a friend from high school. Their wedding is in 2 months :)
*Kari is the youngest and has 2 sisters. I’m the oldest and have 2 brothers.
*She is a fan of rock music and dislikes hip hop, rap, and pop. I’m not a rocker, and I love booty music with a good beat.
*I tend to be a little bit quite and reserved, and Kari is outgoing and tells it like it is.
*She is not a big fan of chocolates and sweet treats but prefers salty snacks. I, on the other hand, live for chocolate and have an enormous sweet tooth!
Kari, thanks for being a wonderful, supportive friend. You're always willing to listen and give advice. I love that you tell me like it is, because sometimes I need a friend that holds nothing back! Even though we're not physically close, I know I can always pick up the phone and count on you to be there for me. You're the greatest!
Miss ya. Love ya. Can't wait to see ya.
Heather
P.S. I'm not giving up hope on our house with the tunnel ;)

Aww dirty sanchez...that made me so happy to read! I love you and you are such a good friend.
Some other things you may not know:
Heather loves American Idol, the dumbest show ever (Kari does not)
Heather loves kids (Kari does not!)
Heather is crafty, artsy, creative...Kari is definitely NOT!
I love all the ways you complete me :)
Haha! I almost put the thing about kids, but I thought that may sound a bit harsh. I forgot about the American Idol thing, though.
