Tucked in a corner behind our condo is a small park with a big, open field. I took Ace there this morning to let him run around and expend some energy. He's not used to being off of his leash, and I wanted to see how he would react. I learned that 1) all he wants to do is sniff around, 2) because of that, he's too distracted to respond to his name, and 3) he wants to explore, but he won't wander too far away from me. I'd run across the field, and he'd chase after me. After a few laps, we were both pooped out!
