Yesterday, Brantley and I spotted a Steak 'n Shake as we were headed home from running several errands. We started lushing over their chocolate milkshakes. "Let's go get one!" I pleaded. It didn't take much convincing. So we split a dark chocolate milkshake, and it was delicious! It's one of our old favorites. :)
Later that night, we headed over to some friends' house to play Kinect. I didn't think I'd like it too much. I don't like to be on display and look silly with those types of games, but I was hooked after the first round! I loved it! And believe it or not, I wasn't too bad at most of the games. When we bowled, I was in last place...until the last frame or two. I decided to try my luck with my left hand, and I got a strike. I decided to keep bowling left-handed, and I ended up getting a turkey, which put me into first place. If only that were the case in real life! It was tons of fun to play, hilarious to watch the people playing, and even funnier to watch the playback videos. So Kinect is one of our new favorites. It will most likely be a birthday present for B, even though it's for us. :)
