On Day #3 of our trip, we drove to New Jersey. Then we took a ferry over to Ellis and Liberty Island. We didn't take a journey to the top of the statue, but we did get to enjoy the view from below. I listened to the audio tour as we walked around the grounds and stared in awe of Lady Liberty's size and beauty. It gave me goosebumps! :)
