Everyday I blessed by hearing all of the wonderful thoughts of seven-year-olds. I love how they speak so freely. They're so serious, but they have me rolling with laughter. Here are some memorable quotes thus far:

"Ms. West, I burped inside my mouth, so it wouldn't come out and make a big noise."

"My baby brother...sometimes he pees on me. It's like an essplosion!"

"I know that word cuz my sister learned me good."

"Ms. West, I have a problem, but I'm not really sure how to solve it."

"Ms. West, I have to go poop."

"I think I kind of like school."

"When I burp inside my mouth, it doesn't taste good."

"You're a genius, Ms. West!"

These little moments brighten my day! Well, Brantley and I are off to the mountains to visit his dad and stepmom . I'm looking forward to a quaint, peaceful getaway. Hopefully, I'll come back with some beautiful scenic pictures. Enjoy your weekend!
