Yesterday after work Brantley and I decided to go to a Mazda dealership to check out a Mazda 3. We weren't exactly sure where it was, but we thought we had a good idea. As soon as we hit the highway, I remembered that it's race week....which means lots of race traffic! Of course we got stuck in it, and we couldn't find the place. So we basically took a scenic tour of Concord and then came back to our neck of the woods without a test drive or even a look. We ate dinner at P.F. Chang's and then grabbed ice cream and a movie.
It was so nice to enjoy at least part of my afternoon. Soon I'll have all of my Saturdays back, because I just put in my two weeks at The Picture People. Love the job, but I need my weekends :)
This week at The Creek we have state testing...boring but a nice break from teaching. 3 1/2 weeks to go 'til summer!
