temperature trickery

Last week, the temperature was in the upper 60's and 70's. I was so excited, because I absolutely lOvE fall weather! This week, though, the temperature has been hovering in the 80's. Don't get me wrong, I love that kind of weather, too. But hot weather makes me think of June. And June makes me think of school getting out. And thinking about school getting out brings a smile to my face :) Because summertime means that I don't have to repeat myself all day long. Summertime means that I don't have to tell Johnny to stop tapping his pencil on his desk and Susie to quit passing notes to her friends. Summertime means that I don't have to get up at 5 a.m. Summertime does not make me want to change my last name. Summertime keeps me stress-free. Ahhh...if only it were it were summertime! Tomorrow's weather, though, will remind me that it's nowhere near summertime. At least I have fall to look forward to, I guess :)
